Subject: Why Should we use Seroflo 125 Inhaler?
Quote
Seroflo 125 Inhaler is a combination of Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol. It is used in the treatment of asthma (a condition that causes narrowing of the airways) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung conditions in which the airflow is blocked, leading to breathing difficulty). It works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways. Seroflo 125 Inhaler may cause some side effects like sore throat, cough, headache, and hoarseness of voice. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or become severe. Seroflo 125 Inhaler should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. For ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop using it. If you discontinue the use of this medicine early, your symptoms may reoccur or worsen. It should not be used to relieve asthma attacks that have already begun. Seroflo 125 Inhaler should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or heart problems, diabetes, active infections, or any other medical condition. Seroflo 125 Inhaler is not recommended for use in children below four years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding. Side effects Major & minor side effects for Seroflo 125 Inhaler Sore throat Headache Muscle cramps Joint pain Skin rash Sleep disturbances Swelling of face, lips, mouth, and tongue Irregular heartbeat White patches in the mouth or on the tongue Hoarseness of voice Uses of Seroflo 125 Inhaler What is it prescribed for? Asthma Asthma is a condition that causes narrowing of the airways with excessive mucous production, leading to breathing difficulty. Seroflo 125 Inhaler is used in the management of asthma. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) refers to lung conditions that cause blockage of airflow, leading to breathing-related problems. Seroflo 125 Inhaler is used in the treatment of COPD as it relaxes and widens the airways. When not to use? Allergy Avoid using Seroflo 125 Inhaler if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (of your face/tongue/throat), breathing difficulty, etc. Status asthmaticus Status asthmaticus is a severe form of asthma that is sudden and does not respond to standard treatments. These attacks can last for several minutes or even hours. Seroflo 125 Inhaler is not recommended for use if you have status asthmaticus as it is not effective in treating this condition. Warnings Warnings for special population Pregnancy Seroflo 125 Inhaler is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with your doctor before using this medicine. Breast-feeding It is not known whether Seroflo 125 Inhaler passes into breastmilk. Hence this medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding unless necessary. Consult your doctor before using this medicine. General warnings Hypokalaemia Seroflo 125 Inhaler may cause a decrease in blood potassium levels and lead to heart-related complications. Hence this medicine should be used with caution if you have hypokalaemia (low blood potassium levels). Seizure disorder Seroflo 125 Inhaler should be used with caution if you have seizure disorders (sudden, uncontrolled brain activity causing fits) due to the increased risk of worsening your condition. Use in children Seroflo 125 Inhaler is not recommended for use in children less than four years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established. Growth retardation Seroflo 125 Inhaler may cause growth retardation in some children. Therefore, children receiving this medicine should be monitored closely with regard to growth parameters. Candida infection Seroflo 125 Inhaler may increase the risk of developing candida infection (a type of fungal infection) of the mouth and throat. Hence, rinse your mouth with water after using this medicine to prevent the risk of infections. https://365chemists.com/product/seroflo-inhaler-125-salmeterol-fluticasone-propionate
