Do not apply the liquid suspension to the lower eyelid. If you are using careprost or other medicines in the same drug class for raised intraocular pressure (IOP), or if you have ever had abnormal IOP, you should only use Careprost under the supervision of a physician. The product may induce eyelid skin darkening, which may be reversible. Bimatoprost ophthalmic solution may also induce increasing brown pigmentation of the colored portion, which is likely to be permanent.
